Williams Energy Marketing and Trading Manager Producer Services - North America 1995 to 2000, Houston, Texas • Supervised a group of five account managers responsible for wholesale producer/supplier accounts in the Western and Gulf Coast Regions for the sale of a "full line" of physical and financial products including swaps, option strategies, collars, basis trades and other index pricing alternatives. Negotiated favorable settlements for unwinding long-term contracts, which resulted in a savings of $23,000,000.
Successfully contracted for long-term supplies from producer/suppliers for up to 600 MMcf/d on an annual basis.
Negotiated long-term supply contracts, in conjunction with Williams Field Services' team, which contributed more than $30,000,000 of annual income to our gathering lines, gas plants and pipelines for the Mobile Bay Area offshore system. Increased the supply portfolio an average of 20% annually from 1998-2000 by expanding our Gulf Coast positions and developing new business in the San Juan and Rockies regions.
TRANSCO ENERGY COMPANY
Transco Gas Marketing Company (TGMC) Manager - Gas Supply 1993 to 1995, Houston, Texas • Managed a trading group responsible for approximately 3.0 Bcf/d on 12 different interstate and intrastate pipelines.
Analyzed supply/marketing gas balances and pricing trends to produce the lowest priced, most flexible portfolio in order to maximize profitability and meet company goals and objectives. Negotiated and evaluated storage opportunities, long-term and spot gas supplies with major and independent producers and marketing companies which contributed to over $1,000,000 annual income. Evaluated risk management hedges and pricing parameters using EFPs, swaps, options and basis trades with producer/suppliers, which produced earnings of several hundred thousand dollars annually.
Transco Energy Marketing Company (TEMCO)
Manager Gas Supply - Gulf Coast 1992 to 1993, Senior Gas Supply Representative 1991 to 1992 • Managed a staff of several professionals responsible for negotiation and acquisition of 2.5 to 3.0 Bcf/d of spot and long-term natural gas supplies in the Gulf Coast Region. Responsible for daily and monthly Supply/Marketing gas balances and pricing trends to produce the lowest priced, most flexible portfolio in order to maximize profitability and meet company goals and objectives.
TXG Gas Marketing Company - (TXG)
Senior Gas Supply Representative 1990 to 1991 • Successfully negotiated new gas contracts on the ANR and Columbia Gas Systems, which was the first time TXG had expanded their portfolio into other pipelines and enabled our business to grow by almost 20%.
Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation - (TRANSCO)
Manager Gas Supply 1983 to 1991 Senior Account Manager 1978 to 1983 • Acquired up to 600 Bcf annually of new gas supplies for the pipeline at a cost savings on average of 15% below budget. Negotiated several take-or-pay settlements with producers, which saved the company billions of Dollars.
Supervisor Gas Accounting 1977 to 1978 Gas Accountant 1974 to 1977 • Responsible for gas purchase invoices to producers and pipelines.
